Michael Jordan recently named his all-time starting five pickup basketball players. The squad included himself, Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen, James Worthy and myself. I was humbled!
After Michael's interview went live, the media reached out to me for my all-time pickup basketball team. It’s a tough question because there are so many great players, but here is my list:
1. Michael Jordan (No question!)
2. John Stockton
3. LeBron James
4. Moses Malone
and..
5. Shaquille O’Neal
These gentlemen are truly phenomenal players. They are competitive by nature, they know how to win and they would beat any team in history.
While it is always an honor to be included in an all-time NBA team, especially by a legend like Michael Jordan, I am even more excited to watch the next generation of players, like LeBron James and Kevin Durant. Pondering the future of the NBA's all-time pickup team is exciting, and this season will go a long way toward determining who is on that roster.
