Nikki Haley will deliver the GOP response to Barack Obama's final State of the Union address Tuesday. But first, the governor of South Carolina has a game to watch.

Haley, decked out in orange Monday, has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Clemson. She spent her New Year's Eve in Miami for the Tigers' 37-17 thrashing of Oklahoma.

Before the Clemson-South Carolina game the final week of the regular season, Haley appeared on The Paul Finebaum Show and said of Dabo Swinney, "He's tired of me being a backseat coach cause I text him all the time and tell him what I think needs to happen."
Haley also revealed she met her husband, Michael, her first weekend at Clemson, and he proposed in the campus' botanical garden.
Although Haley lives in Columbia, home to the University of South Carolina, Haley says she wears a lot of orange. "You can't be politically correct when it comes to a team you love," she explains.
Haley will not be in Glendale for Monday's game, but she is taking time out of political speeches to mention her Tigers' love.
If Clemson beats Alabama, Dabo Swinney and Barack Obama are going to have an awkward interaction at the Tigers' White House visit.
Alabama's Nick Saban is trying to shake Obama's hand for the fourth time.
