Before moving into the new NFL stadium at Hollywood Park in Inglewood in 2019, the Los Angeles Chargers will play the next two seasons at StubHub Center in Carson, the home of the MLS' L.A. Galaxy. It will be the NFL's smallest venue with a seating capacity of 30,000. As a frame of reference, Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego held more than 70,000. The only other NFL stadium with fewer than 60,000 seats is the Oakland Coliseum -- and the Raiders are more than ready to move out.
But in the case of the Chargers, playing in such cozy confines has the potential to be a plus. Consider the outlook of defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.
"I've talked to coaches around the league that knew of this stadium, and they said, 'Gus, it's unique and it's cool,'' Bradley said. "I mean, it's intimate and it's close. It's pretty good. And these are guys who have no ties to the Chargers."

In 2017, in addition to the usual games against AFC West rivals Kansas City, Denver and Oakland, the Chargers will host the Eagles, Redskins, Browns, Dolphins and Bills. The NFL schedule is expected to be released in April.
